Reasons Why We Procrastinate And How We Should Avoid It

Each one of us wants to be productive at work, no matter how much stress our work is. To be productive, we should stop some bad habits such as procrastinating and putting things off. You may already face this kind of situation: you need to do your assignment soon as the deadline is approaching, but you keep on being lazy and scrolling the social media for hours and watching useless videos.

Some claim that rewards don’t provide for effective motivation. Never trust them. They are most likely criminals.

They’re only correct in regards to external benefits, sometimes known as “bribes,” so maybe not. In reality, giving staff rewards doesn’t always motivate them more.

However, rewarding yourself is just common sense, so do it. You are in need of that Bing! moment, after all.

 

11. Spend Time With Those Who Will Motivate You To Take Action

Spending only 10 minutes conversing with Steve Jobs or Bill Gates will undoubtedly encourage you to take action more than if you chose to do nothing. Our actions are influenced by the individuals we are with. Of course, spending time with Bill Gates or Steve Jobs every day is probably not a practical strategy, but the idea still holds true.

Find the friends or coworkers who make you feel triggered (they are probably the hard workers and go-getters), and spend more time with them. You’ll soon instill their enthusiasm and desire as well.

 

12. Get A Buddy For Motivation

The entire process is considerably more enjoyable when you have a friend around. Your friend should ideally have a distinct set of objectives. You’ll keep each other responsible for sticking to your plans and goals. Although it is not required that you both share the same objectives, it will be even better if you do so that you can benefit from one another.
